I know I have been away for a long time, family commitments keep me busy so wasn't able to write anything.

Have shopped from so many online sites but don't have the time to write my experience. However this Sunday I made sure I write at least one post. So here's the post on my shopping experience with myntra.com.

Layout & Design : The layout of the site is simple & easy browse! I could easily search for the stuff that I wanted to buy & add it them to the cart.

Speed: While I shopped, I didn't experience any kind of speed issues, once I clicked on the product details I could easily read the description & even see the zoomed picture of the product.

Products: There is a huge collection of products catering to everybody's needs.If you are brand conscious person you could even search products by brands & buy them. The products that I ordered were brand new & they didn't even look like products from other shopping sites which lie in the warehouse & don't look new.

Pricing & Discounts: The pricing of the products is reasonable! There are so many branded items available at low price. And there are so many discounts every now & then, some of the items I bought were on discounted price too.

Customer Service: I didn't see any need for anybody from the customer service team to call me because I kept getting these messages on my phone about my order status, along with the email updates.

Payment & Shipping: Payment process is fast & easy!

They say the items are shipped within 7 days, but I got them sooner than that, I received them in 4-5 days!

Packaging:  The stuff was nicely bubble wrapped & sent, I definitely liked the packaging.

Delivery Charges: A shipping charge of Rs. 99 will be applicable to all orders under Rs. 999. For all purchases of Rs. 999 or more, they deliver the order to your doorstep free of cost.

My Experience using these stickers:

When I opened the packet, I thought it is going to be one helluva process, then I read the instructions & started the application.Though I took a tweezers to apply them, I found applying them with hands was easier. The quality of the nail stickers is great, long back I did try some stickers that I ordered from an International site, but the application was mess, the stickers were very thin & I couldn't position them properly & apply, too much of pressure wore tear them apart! However, unlike those stickers, these L'Oreal Color Riche Le Nail Art stickers are so easily to apply! The manicure gets done in no time!


According to instructions after the stickers are placed on the base of the nail, they had to be folded over the natural nail tip & the nails had to be filed to remove the excess sticker. Since I didn't have the patience to file them, I cut the excess part with a nail cutter & just filed the corners, so this made the application more easier & it was messy too.

Usually when the regular stickers are applied, if in case you go wrong & find them applied uneven, & if you remove & try reapplying them, they loose the glue & have to be thrown away but unlike the regular ones the L'Oreal Color Riche Le Nail Art stickers can be removed & reapplied perfectly ,if you find them to applied uneven.

Since I do household chore they stay good for 2-3days after that they start peeling.

Final Word: The 3D nail art stickers are great if you want your nails to look professionally manicured & don't have time to go to saloons to get them done. They have a variety of  designs to choose, you could use them for any party or look chic at college with these on your nails. Usually, removing the glittery nail polishes is a mess, so you could use these instead of spending time on applying the glittery colors & then removing.
The ease of application & removal is a plus point here!

Soleful Sunday!

Hello Beauties, Hope you all are doing good! Just got some "me time" so decided to quickly do this post! I hope you enjoy the pics! These flat shoes are from Catwalk!

The shoes have pointed  tips with a bow like pattern in the front & the blue colored part is suede. These are very easy to slip on & so comfortable. But the only problem that I have wearing shoes is the shoe bites that I get, but I'm planning to use the Scholl's cushioned adhesives next time I wear these.
Also, these attract some dust by the end of the day, so just make sure you wipe them & keep them in a box.

2. Some of the participants were modifying their looks & posting it on other blogs( A participant just changed the way the eyeliner is applied & put it up on another blog). This is definitely not going to be accepted & the entry will be disqualified.

How I made use of Coupon Codes for Online shopping!

Wanted to share a brief post on my online  shopping experience using the coupon codes available. Hope this helps everyone!
Lots of online shopping sites had these tempting offers for the Festival Diwali, one of them Medplus beauty had offer on cosmetics & I couldn't stop myself from getting a few things!

When I saw these offers & discounts, I spent an entire day zeroing on the stuff that I needed( I'm not a hoarder these days &I get stuff that I need because of the storage issue),calculating the amount I would save considering the budget that I had in mind & reading reviews online.

 

Medplus beauty had 25%  festive discount on Colorbar products & a discount of 40% on Maxfactor during their clearance sale in addition to discounts on other brands too! I chose Colorbar because I liked the Colorbar velvett Matte lipstick that Nisha sent me & I wanted to try a few more shades from the range,also I needed a Kohl so got one from Colorbar, I use a MaxFactor foundation & since it was running out I needed a back up so got the foundation.

Here's a picture of my order which also shows the actual price & the discounted price.

So for the lipstick worth Rs.250 I paid Rs.187.50 INR & for the Kohl priced Rs. 150 I paid Rs.112.50 & the foundation priced Rs.850 I paid Rs.510 INR.

The actual amount of the 3 products is Rs.1250 & I paid Rs.810 so I saved Rs.440 INR. Isn't that nice?

So I suggest, whenever you do online shopping do make sure you google search for coupon codes to save some bucks! There are lots of websites dedicated just for coupon codes, so don't forget to search for them.

For my International friends, there is a website Coupon Chief that caters to all your needs, browse through the site to get the best of the deals & grab them.

Pyjamas, Nightgowns or Baby Doll – The Big Nightwear Debate

When it comes to what we wear in bed, we all have personal preferences. Whilst some of us prefer the comfort and warmth of a traditional pair of pyjamas, others prefer the freedom of a nightie – presuming we choose to wear anything at all that is!

Pyjamas

The thought of being tucked up, wearing a pair of cosy pyjamas as the wind rattles outside is enough to get us all wishing for our beds. Pyjamas come in a wide variety of styles, sizes and materials; ranging from fitted, silky and sexy to baggy and comfortable. Generally speaking pyjamas are made of soft materials and are designed to provide comfort and warmth whilst asleep.

With the winter coming, pyjamas can be a good choice of nightwear for the simple fact they are cosy and warm. Soleful Sundays!- A new feature

Hello Beauties,

I'm planning to start a new feature called Soleful Sundays! I always drool over footwear, anytime I walk around in a mall or any other place, the first thing I notice is a woman's footwear, then the makeup & next comes the clothes! & to bring some excitement in my life, I'm gonna be sharing pictures of the footwear that I own!

This feature should have started yesterday, but me being lazy as usual postponed it for today, but I'll make sure from the next post, the pictures would be shared on Sundays!

The one that I'm showing you all now is pair that I got from Lifestyle!

This Sandal is from the brand Ginger.

 Description: This pink colored pair has rhinestones in the front & the straps to fasten the sandals & have  grip. These are very comfortable while strolling around malls or parks but the one thing that I dislike is, unlike slipons these cannot be removed easily, you need to first unbuckle them to remove the footwear! But this is a very pretty girly pair that I own!

NOTD: China Glaze Optical Illusion

Hello beauties, I had won a giveaway on Nisha's Blog & got this nail lacquer in the goodie bag.
China Glaze Optical Illusion is a part of the Prismatic collection from China Glaze.

According to the brand: This has Aqua green glimmers with a hint of purple filled with pink, yellow, silver, orange and green flecks

My thoughts : It is an aqua green nail lacquer, with duochrome effect & has large & small multi-colored glitter. The glitter is in silver, orange, pink, gold, green, blue.

The formula of this nail lacquer is good, it spreads smoothly & though it has lots of glitter, it evenly spreads over without being messy. It dries up fast too!

Had difficulty clicking pictures of this one! Though it is aqua greenish but in pictures it looked  silverish.

Overall, this is by far the best glittery nail laquer & my first China Glaze that I have used. The only thing that bothers me is the removal, it takes a little effort to remove these glittery paints.

Price: Somewhere around Rs.500- Rs.600INR

New to shampoo bars?

Well they work just like shampoo, but are just in a bar form :o) Just gently message the bar on wet hair - around the perimeter of your head, so starting from the edges inward. If you section your hair lather up each section. Once the lather forms, shampoo your hair as usual. This only needs to be done once, but for those who are heavy-handed with products like I am, feel free to lather again :o) Remember to follow with a conditioner after washing.

Faces Canada Nail Enamel Chilli Red 34

Hello Beauties,

Here's a quick NOTD using the Face Nail Enamel "Chilli Red 34"
As the name suggests it's a chilli red with black undertones with micro glitter which isn't too obvious, you could see them in sunlight.
It has a glossy finish & I don't usually feel the need to apply a top coat.
The finish is awesome, it's neither too thick nor too thin, it make the application smooth. I find 2 coats to be enough to get the desired color & finish.
The best part is it dries up very fast!  It usually fades in 4-5 days because I do household chores but I guess it will stay good for longer time if top coat is used.

Price: Rs.199 for 9ml

I know I haven't cleared the mess around my cuticles, I had to do the NOTD superfast & take pictures, there is issue here with light, with so many apartments & buildings around I find it difficult to capture the exact color. I hope I get more time to at least do these small brief posts! :)
