Biore Pore Pack for Black Head Removal

Hello Beauties, On my recent visit to the local H&G stores, I found these small packets lying in a corner. The Pond's nose strips that I had used don't work at all, so when I found this imported nose strips, I decided to give it a try & got only one pack.
There is no description or  product claim or the ingredients list. On one side of the pack are the instructions to use it & on the other side there are precautions to be taken mentioned.

Price of one strip- Rs. 35 INR( I found this expensive considering it's the price for just 1 strip)

Available at- Health & Glow stores.

My Experience- The pack has all the instruction about the usage printed on it, so it's very easy to use. I just followed the instructions & applied it & waited for it to dry for 15 minutes & removed it. The procedure is  just like getting your hand waxed with wax strips but less painful. The strip does remove most of the black heads but I could still see some left on the nose. So I think  this strip would work best if used after taking steam or  hot shower.

Will I repurchase this: Yes Definitely. I would use this after taking steam to get rid of the black heads.

How to make use of your Old Pigment

Hello Beauties, Today I would like to introduce you all to a beautiful trick of reusing your pigment.
If you are getting bored with your regular nail polishes & want to have some fun, take out those pigments out & convert the pigment into a nice nail color. Here is the trick to do that.

Step 1:  Take some pigment on a white paper or you could use directly from the box.

Step 2: Take some pigment using a Q-tip & start dabbing on the nail.

Step 3: Take a clear coat & apply it on the nail. It’s better not to use your expensive top coat to avoid spoiling it, because a lot of pigment gets stuck to the brush. I used some unknown brand top coat.

Step 4: Let this dry & once this dries, apply your regular favourite top coat & you are done.

So this is how I achieved the copper pigment nail color. ;-) Hope you guys like it.

P.S There is another way of doing it. You can just mix the pigment & clear coat on a paper & apply that, but I found the above procedure easy.

Avon color dual ended collection- Eye

Hello Beauties, Today I'm going to review the Avon dual ended collection which is created by Jillian Dempsey - Avon's Global creative color Director.
Jillian Dempsey is a Hollywood Make up Artist, her handiwork has been published in Allure, Esquire,Elle, Vanity Fair& Marie Claire.
The dual collection is available for eyes & lips. The Eye collection has a combination of eye shadow & liquid liner & the Lip collection has a combination of Lipstick & Lip gloss.
The Eye collection is available in 3 shades- Spring Green/Metallic brown, Passionate Rose/ Passionate Plum, Silver/Metallic Blue.
I got the Silver/Metallic Blue shade.

How to apply the eye collection: Apply the eyeshadow starting from the inner corner of your lid towards the outer. Line your eyes with the liner along the lash line and blend in the eyeshadow.

Price : Rs. 299. I got this at Rs. 199 under the special introductory price last month.

My Experience with dual eye collection: I like the eyeliner, its a nice color & stays for few hours, but this isn't a waterproof eyeliner, so if one sweats excessively & rubs it, it will just come off. The color of the eye liner is Metallic Blue & looks lovely on the eyes. The eye shadow turned out to be  a dud, it just disappears within few minutes, so I just don't feel the need to apply it, it's a mere waste. All in all, the only best part about the dual eye collection is the liquid liner.

Will I repurchase or recommend it : Absolutely not, it is not at all a  must have collection.

Konad Nail Art & Blue Striped Nail Art

Hello Beauties, This is my first attempt at Konad Stamping & I'm so glad it came out good. I requested a friend of mine who lives in the US to get this because we don't get these Konad Nail Art stuff in my city. Also I have done a simple nail art using cello tape. Hope you guys like it.

Here is a step by step procedure on how to do Konad Nail art.
Step1: Paint your nails with any color you like, I painted them with Avon Nail color.
Step 2: Take Konad Special Nail Polish & apply it on the Konad Design Plate.
Step 3: Take a Konad scraper & scrape across the Konad Design Plate to remove excess polish.
Step 4: Immediately Press the Konad stamp to pick up the design.
Step 5: Stamp the image onto your nail & apply a top coat to complete the nail art.

Here is the step by step procedure to create the striped nail art.

Step1: Paint your nails with any color you like, I painted them with Avon Blue Nail color.
Step 2: Cut cello tape into strips according to choice.( You could also use a scotch tape) & keep pressing them on your hand until it loses the stickiness.
Step 3: Apply the strips on the nail & then painted the complete nails once again with Avon Juicy Plum nail color.
Step 4: Once the nail paint dries, take off the strips slowly, apply a top coat to complete the nail art.
